Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh

Upon arrival, you will be met outside the baggage claim area by your guide who will escort you to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to downtown with a brief introduction en route. Your guide will be holding a welcome signboard with the Vietnam Exploration Booking Tours's Logo & your name. During the drive your guide will provide an introduction to Phnom Penh.

In the afternoon, we will start visiting the capital city of Phnom Penh: Visit the Independent Monument, the National Museum, the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Silver Pagoda has a special name because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. We will end the day with Wat Phnom. Back to the hotel for rest and overnight.

The riverside capital of Phnom Penh, once known as “The Pearl of Asia” and long considered the most beautiful French-built city of the Orient, is a charming and captivating city. The old French ochre-coloured colonial buildings are now being filled with trendy cafes, boutiques and art galleries and many traditional ornate temples still remain. The bustling squares and frangipani-lined boulevards create an atmosphere that is unlike any other city in South East Asia. Rich in history, Phnom Penh has a number of cultural and historical sites including the National Museum, Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and offers an insight into its darker past with the haunting Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Museum.

Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tours(B,L)

After breakfast, drive to visit the notorious Killing Fields ” ChoeungEk” 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. This one is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of whom first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in ToulSleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (from 1975–1979). Then return to city center to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

This afternoon, continue to visit TuolSleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.You’ll have a chance to meet with one of the few survivors kept there by the Khmer Rouge with interaction about his time of imprisonment.

Then we will visit and have a chance to shop at one of the city’s lively open markets, PsarToul Tom Pong; all called the “Russian Market” where anything and everything is for sales. Late afternoon, enjoy a significant sunset cruise on the mystic Mekong River with an ice-chest of red/white wine, snacks and fruits to be served. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 3: Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham(B,L)

Have breakfast at hotel. Depart to Kompong Cham by National Road NO. 6, on the way take break at Spider market. Continue to Kompong Cham to view examples of colonial architecture. Afternoon visit Wat Nokhor Bachey with its ancient temple, then continue visit Han Chey Mountain for watching view of Tonle Mekong from the hill and surrounding landscape till sunset. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 4: Kamphong Cham - Kampong Thom - Siem Reap(B,L)

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, highlight with Phnom Pros & Phnom Srei, the former and well known of Kampong Cham province. Then continue to Kompong Thom. En route, visit Wat Kohear Norkor (11th century). Continue to Phum Prasat with its single ancient temple. Arrive in Kompong Thom. Afternoon, then continue to visit Sambo Prei Kuk temple, the Khmer Chenla city in last pre-Angkorian period. We then continue trip to Siem Reap. Arrive Siem Reap in the evening, and then transfer to check in at hotel and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Angkor Tour - Siem Reap(B,L)

This morning, after breakfast, we going to visit Rolous group, the first city of Angkorian including of: Preah Koh temple, Bakong Temple and Lo Lei temple. Afternoon, Visit to Banteay Srei temple (10th century), the pink sandstone temple regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art. Then continue your visit to Banteay Samre in the afternoon. Spend the second night in Siem Reap

Day 6: Angkor Tour - Siem Reap(B,L)

This morning, we are getting up in the early morning for sunrise at Angkor wat temple. Then transfer back to hotel. Have breakfast at the hotel. Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12th century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to visit Ta Prohm temple, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Afternoon visit to the most famous temples of Angkor: Angkor Wat.

The world wonders build in 12th century. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks – the enclosing wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. Enjoy the sunset at Bakheng Mountain with 65 m high with the view from the hill top and Transfer back to hotel. Take free time for night city tour at night market for any souvenir or pub street etc and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Siem Reap Departure(B)

Have breakfast at hotel. Morning, we will visit the floating village of Chong Khneas by boat trip with traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake. The “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the wonders of South East Asia. Experience with ox-cart riding throughout the local village on the way back to downtown. Afternoon, visit to “Le Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecoles” the art & caving school. Take Time leisure at local market.
Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for departure

You should take cash with you because banking system sometimes does not function well. Us Dollar, Euro are accepted.
You shoule take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Cambodia in case you get sick.
