12 DAYS VIETNAM TOURS FROM HO CHI MINH

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL  ( B,L) 

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and proceed to your hotel in the centre.

Your tour begins at Tan Son Nhat airport, where you will arrive and find the driver with your name board. We will take the short drive to the centre of the city, where your hotel awaits. Relax after check-in or explore the city at your leisure.

DAY 2 : HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNEL  ( B,L) 

• Morning / Afternoon (depending on your schedule): Depart from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and drive about 1.5 hours through the countryside to reach the historic Cu Chi Tunnels.

• Upon arrival, watch a short documentary about the tunnel system and its role during the Vietnam War.

• Explore the vast network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong for living, hiding, and combat.

  • See hidden entrances, trapdoors, weapon storage areas, kitchens, and meeting rooms.

  • For those interested, experience crawling through a short, safe section of the tunnel to feel what life was like underground.

  • View displays of wartime weapons, traps, and vehicles.

• Optional: Try your hand at the firing range (additional cost) with historical rifles used during the war.

• Return: After the visit, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop off at your hotel.

DAY 3 : MEKONG DELTA TOUR ( B/L) 

• Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, depart Ho Chi Minh City for the Mekong Delta (about 2 hours’ drive). Upon arrival at My Tho, board a boat to cruise along the Tien River. Admire the lush landscapes, stilt houses, and fishing villages along the riverbanks.

  • Stop at Tortoise Islet to enjoy tropical fruits and listen to traditional Southern folk music.

  • Visit a coconut candy workshop and a local honey farm, where you can taste fresh honey tea.

  • Take a rowboat ride through palm-shaded canals for an authentic Delta experience.

• Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local riverside restaurant, featuring regional specialties such as elephant ear fish or spring rolls.

• Afternoon: Continue exploring the Delta villages, meeting local families and learning about their daily lives. Return to the boat and transfer back to the pier.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH FLIGHT TO DANANG - HOI AN WALKING TOUR ( B/L) 

• Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, meet your guide and continue the short drive (about 40 minutes) to Hoi An. Check in at your hotel and relax.

• Afternoon: Begin your guided walking tour through the UNESCO-listed Hoi An Ancient Town. Stroll along the narrow streets lined with old merchant houses and admire the blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese architecture.

  • Visit the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, symbol of Hoi An.

  • Explore the historic Tan Ky Ancient House with unique interiors preserved for generations.

  • Stop by the Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Hall, richly decorated with colorful mosaics.

DAY 7 : HOI AN - DANANG - FLIGHT TO HANOI ( B) 

• Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Free time to relax, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a last walk through Hoi An Ancient Town.

• At the scheduled time, transfer by private vehicle to Da Nang Airport (approx. 40 minutes).

• Take a flight from Da Nang to Hanoi.

• Upon arrival in Hanoi: Meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel in the city center. Check in and rest.

• Evening: Free at leisure to explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter, stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake, or enjoy local street food. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 8: HANOI CITY TOUR ( B/L) 
 

• Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, begin your full-day guided tour of Hanoi, Vietnam’s charming capital.

  • Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside on Mondays/Fridays) and Presidential Palace, followed by Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda.

  • Explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, built in 1070.

• Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.

• Afternoon: Continue sightseeing with the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (or Fine Arts Museum if preferred), showcasing the culture of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.

DAY 9: HANOI - NINH BINH ( B/L) 
 

• Morning: After breakfast, depart Hanoi for Ninh Binh Province (about 2 hours’ drive). Upon arrival at Tam Coc, board a sampan boat rowed by local villagers. Glide along the Ngo Dong River, passing through rice paddies and beneath towering limestone karsts, often called “Ha Long Bay on land.”

• After the boat ride, take a short walk to visit the tranquil Thai Vi Temple, dedicated to the Tran Dynasty kings, surrounded by rice fields and limestone cliffs.

• Lunch: Enjoy a Vietnamese set menu at a local restaurant in Tam Coc.

• Afternoon: Hop on a bicycle and cycle through peaceful villages, rice fields, and karst landscapes to experience the countryside life of Ninh Binh. The route offers plenty of photo opportunities and authentic encounters with locals.

• Evening: Drive back to Hanoi and return to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
   

DAY 10: HANOI - HALONG ( B/L/D) 

• 08:30 – Your tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and depart for Ha Long Bay (approx. 2.5–3 hours by road).

• 11:30 – Arrive at the pier and embark on the cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink, followed by a safety briefing and cruise introduction. Check in to your cabin.

• 13:15 – Lunch is served on board while the boat cruises through the magnificent Ha Long Bay. Admire fascinating limestone formations before anchoring near Titop Island.

• 15:00 – 16:00 – Visit the impressive Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay.

• 16:00 – 17:00 – Continue to Titop Island. Climb to the summit for a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay, or relax and swim at the sandy beach below.

• 17:20 – Return to the cruise. Relax on the sundeck and watch the magical sunset while enjoying Happy Hour at the bar.

DAY 11: HALONG - HANOI ( B/L) 

• 06:00 – 06:30 – Start the day with an optional Tai Chi session on the sundeck while watching the sunrise over the bay.

• 06:30 – 07:00 – Enjoy a light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries.

• 07:00 – 08:30 – Continue cruising to explore more of Ha Long Bay’s hidden corners. Visit a floating fishing village or another scenic spot (program varies depending on your cruise).

• 09:00 – Return to the boat and pack your belongings. Check out of your cabin.

• 09:30 – 10:30 – Savor a hearty brunch / early lunch on board while the cruise makes its way back toward the pier.

• 11:00 – 11:30 – Disembark from the cruise.

• Transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle or private car.

• 14:30 – 15:00 – Arrive in Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel.
