INTRODUCTION

Angkor (ប្រាសាទអង្គរ) is the earthly representation of Mt Meru, the Mt Olympus of the Hindu faith and the abode of ancient gods. The temples are the perfect fusion of creative ambition and spiritual devotion. The Cambodian ‘god-kings’ of old each strove to better their ancestors in size, scale and symmetry, culminating in the world’s largest religious building, Angkor Wat.

The temples of Angkor are a source of inspiration and national pride to all Khmers as they struggle to rebuild their lives after the years of terror and trauma. Today, the temples are a point of pilgrimage for all Cambodians, and no traveller to the region will want to miss their extravagant beauty. Angkor is one of the world’s foremost ancient sites, with the epic proportions of the Great Wall of China, the detail and intricacy of the Taj Mahal, and the symbolism and symmetry of the pyramids, all rolled into one.

DAY 1: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL ( D)


Upon arrival at Siem Reap international airport, you will be met and welcome by our friendly guide then transferred direct to your hotel for check-in. Start your visit to South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of Temple Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. It is time to visit one of the great wonders of the world, symbol of the heart and soul of the Cambodia, Angkor Wat. Tonight you will enjoy dinner with Khmer Apsara Dance Show. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap
 

 






 

DAY 2: ANGKOR TEMPLE EXPLORATION ( B/L) 

 

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the awe-inspiring Angkor Archaeological Park, one of the world’s most magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Your exploration begins at the iconic Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument on the planet. Admire its grand towers, intricate bas-reliefs, and the stunning reflection in the surrounding moat as the morning light brings the temple to life.

Continue to Angkor Thom, the ancient fortified city of the Khmer Empire. Step through the impressive South Gate and enter a vast complex filled with historic treasures. At its heart lies the mysterious Bayon Temple, famous for its towering stone faces that watch serenely in every direction.

Next, wander through the atmospheric ruins of Ta Prohm, where massive tree roots wrap dramatically around crumbling structures. Often called the “Tomb Raider Temple,” it offers one of the most photogenic and enchanting scenes in Angkor.

Throughout your tour, your guide will share the stories, symbolism, and historical significance behind each temple, giving you a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage. From soaring towers to jungle-covered sanctuaries, every corner reveals a new wonder.
 

 






 

DAY 3: SIEM REAP -  KAMPONG KHLEANG DISCOVER( B/L) 


8:00 AM: Get Pick up by tour guide. Visit to Kampong Khleang. Kampong Khleang is located on the northern lake-edge about 55 km east of Siem Reap town, more remote and less tourist than Kampong Pluk. Visitors to Kampong Khleang during the dry season are universally awestruck by the forest of stilted houses rising up to 10 meters in the air. In wet season the waters rise up to one or two meters of the buildings. Kompong Khleang is a permanent community within the flood plain of the Lake, with an economy based in fishing and surrounded by flooded forest. Kompong Khleang is significantly larger with nearly 10 times the population of Kompong Pluk, making it the largest community on the Lake. Free & leisure at your own time for rolling at local markets or shopping until transfer to Siem Reap international airport for departure flight to the next destinations.
