According to information dated June 4 from the online travel service booking platform Agoda, Vietnam ranked 5th among the Asian destinations most searched for by European tourists for the summer of 2025, after the top 4 to top 1 are Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand. This list is based on accommodation searches on Agoda in April for check-in dates between July and August. France, England, Germany, Russia, Norway are the 5 countries with the highest number of searches for tourism to Vietnam. This year, Russian and Norwegian tourists replaced the Netherlands and Spain in the top 5 thanks to direct flights and Vietnam's visa-free policy for citizens of these two countries.
