Highlights

  • Vietnam: With many picturesque landscapes, golden sand beaches and breathtaking mountains, Vietnam is considered one of the most attractive destinations of Southeast Asia. Explore amazing cuisine, unique culture and stunning architecture from North to South, from quaint Hanoi, exotic Sa Pa to ancient Hoi An, beautiful Nha Trang and many other destinations.
  • Laos: The attractions of Laos are Vientiane, the national capital and Luang Prabang, the ancient capital. Experience some off-the-beaten-track islands such as Don Khong, Don Khon and Don Det.
Vientiane, Laos’ national capital, mixes French-colonial architecture with Buddhist temples.
  • Cambodia: If Cambodia is not on your bucket list, then it should be! Immerse yourself in spectacular Angkor Wat, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and cruise to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
  • Thailand: You can find everything in Thailand, from the bustling capital Bangkok, peaceful Chiang Mai, historic Ayutthaya to beautiful beaches such as Phuket, Pattaya and Ko Samui. Thai people are famous for their friendliness and generosity.
  • Myanmar: Myanmar (or Burma) is well-known for its Buddhist architecture in Yangon, Bagan and Mandalay. Refresh your soul in stunning pagodas and monasteries, enjoy amazing food and explore local life.

Tips

  • Pay attention to the weather before traveling. Northern and Central Vietnam have four seasons a year while Laos and Cambodia have only two seasons (dry and rainy seasons).
  • Prepare some cash: There are many ATMs in tourism spots, but in provinces, you will need to pay in cash.
  • Prepare for the humidity: wear appropriate clothes and bring extra water.
  • Don’t forget sun protection items: umbrella, hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. The hot and humid weather in Vietnam will cause sunburn.
  • Dress appropriately when visiting a religious site: Always keep a shawl or some long-sleeved clothing in your bag as you may be refused entry or cause offense if you are not properly covered.
