New Bus Route Connects Ha Long and Nanning, Boosting Tourism

A new bus route between Ha Long and Nanning has launched, enhancing tourism and connectivity. Buses run thrice a week in each direction In a move set to boost regional tourism, a new fixed passenger bus route connecting Ha Long in Vietnam’s Quang Ninh Province with Nanning City in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was officially launched on Tuesday. This new service, facilitated through the Bac Luan II Bridge, marks a significant step in enhancing cross-border transportation and tourism.

The route, managed collaboratively by the Quang Ninh Department of Transport and the Department of Transport of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is operated by transport firms from both Vietnam and China. It is designed to offer greater convenience and flexibility for travelers between these two key destinations.

The schedule for the new bus service is as follows: Departures from Nanning will be at 9:00 a.m., arriving in Ha Long at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Conversely, buses will leave Ha Long at 10:30 a.m. and arrive in Nanning at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Each bus is equipped to carry up to 48 passengers. Travelers are required to have a passport with at least six months validity and a valid visa to board.

This initiative is anticipated to diversify the tourism products offered in Ha Long and significantly contribute to the development of Quang Ninh’s tourism sector, fostering greater regional integration and economic growth
