International KOLs visit My Son Sanctuary to promote Vietnam’s cultural heritage, aiming to boost global tourism through influencer-driven campaigns.
The My Son Sanctuary Cultural Heritage Management Board, in partnership with the Quang Nam Tourism Promotion Center, recently hosted a group of international Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to promote the site’s rich cultural history. The group, comprising 12 influencers from Australia, Italy, Spain, and South Korea, is well-known on platforms like Instagram. Notable participants include @antonio.pozo, who boasts 1 million followers, @marcoparrino with 563,000 followers, and @eudiny_insta with 370,000 followers.
The influencers were invited to experience and share their visit to My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with their vast online audiences. The goal is to leverage their influence to highlight Quang Nam Province’s green tourism initiatives and cultural attractions, bringing global attention to Vietnam’s rich heritage.
Nguyen Trung Khanh, head of Vietnam's National Tourism Administration, emphasized the importance of collaborating with KOLs and travel bloggers as part of a broader strategy to boost Vietnam's tourism in 2024. By working with influencers, Vietnam hopes to reach new audiences and promote destinations like My Son Sanctuary to a global community.
